Beckie Jackson is a secondary social studies teacher at Moose Lake High School in Moose Lake, Minnesota, USA.
Beyond her seven years of teaching experience, she has coached girls’ volleyball and basketball and is also the advisor of the Moose Lake History Club. From January to May 2017, she will travel to Botswana as part of the Fulbright Distinguished Awards in Teaching Program. While there, she aims to gather a collection of primary resources on Botswana’s colonial history and identify ways this legacy is taught or perceived in local schools today.
Aside from coffee, travel, friends & family, tv, and the gym, she is obsessed with her cat. Don’t judge her.
